Lil Baby is keeping the momentum going in 2025. As promised, the Atlanta rapper delivered the deluxe edition of his fourth studio album, WHAM, on January 6, adding four brand-new tracks to the mix.
Available exclusively through his official website, the expanded edition introduces “99” featuring Future, “Idol,” “Running This S**t,” and “My Shawty.” Producer Wheezy—who played a major role in shaping the original album’s sound—returned to lend his magic to several of the new additions.
Heavy-Hitting Features & Possible Subliminal Disses
The standout collaboration comes on “99,” where Lil Baby and Future exchange fiery bars. Baby name-drops legends like Juelz Santana, Nelly, Tyreek Hill, and Waka Flocka Flame, while Future proclaims himself a “legend in the streets” in a reference-packed verse:
“I get to shinin’ up my golds like Juvenile in ’99/ I’m rockin’ the clean suit like I was Snoop, beat this homicide.”
However, fans are buzzing over a possible jab at Gunna on “Running This S**t.” In the second verse, Lil Baby raps:
“I don’t care what he did, he a rat still/ And I said what I said, don’t at me.”
The line has sparked speculation about whether he’s addressing his former collaborator amid ongoing industry tensions.
WHAM’s Success & Potential Tour Plans
Originally released as a 15-track project, WHAM already boasted a star-studded lineup, including Young Thug, Future, GloRilla, Rod Wave, Rylo Rodriguez, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage. The album is expected to make a major splash on the Billboard 200, continuing Lil Baby’s track record of No. 1 debuts.
